Our Field Chefs work in-house and onsite to ensure the event’s menu is prepared and executed perfectly, including culinary technique, presentation, organization, and more! Onsite events are held across the state of Colorado.
Job Types: Open Availability, Part-time
Salary: $20.00 - $21.00/hour Based on Experience
Experience:
- Food Preparation: 1 year (Preferred)
- Kitchen: 1 year (Preferred)
License: Driver's License (Required)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Uphold company values and customer care standards during events towards clients and guests- always exceeding expectations
- Acts as the Chef of the on-site team in day-of event preparation, execution, and cleanup, leading all culinary staff and activities for on-site events
- Work with Three Tomatoes’ Catering Managers and event contact to ensure a successful event
- Assist with event setup and breakdown
- Train culinary team in proper techniques, display, presentation, etc.
- Drive company van to/from event
- Lead and train event culinary team in order to execute flawless culinary experiences for company clients and their guests
- Ensure event venue policies are respected during events, including set- up and clean- up policies
- Possible shifts in company kitchen, food deliveries and warehouse maintenance and organization
- Any other work duty pertaining the Service Department as assigned by company direct supervisor

PREFERRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Open availability
- Flexible hours, including mornings and evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Three years proven leadership in kitchen or onsite catering
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Work standing on your feet for 10-12 hours a shift with brief or minimal breaks in between
- Strong service knowledge and solid experience working for high-end customers and guests
- Outstanding customer care and attention to detail
- Previous culinary and kitchen experience is a must
- Excellent food preparation and presentation skills
- Effective verbal and written communication, planning, time-management, and organizational skills
- Must be able to pass a basic background check
- Must be able to work legally in the US
- Shifts both onsite and in our kitchen (Catering shifts will require travel to various event locations)
